Cleveland OH - New Cityscape by Garrett Weider

Hello everyone. I had done some cityscape paintings a while back so I thought I'd revisit that style. They were always well received and sold extremely well.

So here's how it was made. I collage it together in photoshop using a bunch of pictures I had taken. I then print it out and blow the image up on a xerox machine. They are cut out and applied to the canvas with gel medium. Once dry I go to town with acrylic paint, spray paint and paint markers. I rough up the surface with some sandpaper too.

Keep a look out for more in the future!

If you're on Cleveland's East side, I have some paintings on display at Native Cleveland. It's a cool store of all things CLE!

Fooling around with video

Maybe this is all a waste of time, but I love fooling around with video.

I don't know if the art videos ever translate into sales, but I think someday all this youtube ridiculousness will pay off.

Have a great day!
